OK...

One of the beauties of being your own boss is that you can decide to take the summer off from blogging and not get in too much trouble. LOL However, I really have some great stuff to show you from all the fun shoots I did this summer - so I will start putting together a collage so you all can enjoy them as much as I did.

In the meantime I promised a sneak peak to two adorable 2011 Seniors. I have known these girls since they were "half-pints" - and I have to say they have grown up very nicely. So here ya go ladies...more to come :)

{Graduation Celebrations} | Utah Children & Family Photographer

Well - since learning I have bunch of great RSS followers to my photography site - I will be a little more timely in posting all these fun photographic captures for you to enjoy. It's been interesting trying to balance life as a mother and photographer - so as you can imagine play time with children comes before posting ;)

I love this time of year - when the yard comes alive and kids are heard playing in the neighborhood. It's also the time to celebrate graduations and moving on to new seasons in life. We had such a blast on this fun urban-style Senior portrait shoot. Here were a few of my favorites...

Do you remember the movie "Say Anything"? (does that give away my 80's-ness) And the gal that gives the speech at graduation.... "I've glimpsed your future and all I can say is 'Go Back' ". Of course no one on the verge of graduating from high school can see the full wisdom in that - but at least we can capture the moment forever in photographs...

I had a great Senior Portrait shot for the son of a good friend of mine. I think he now holds the record for the tallest person I have ever photographed. He was a good sport and his mother and I had great time trying to get him to laugh.
