Utah Photographer... {April Showers!}

I am amazingly behind on my latest shoots. I am excited to post a bunch of new stuff for you and some old things too. First of all, I want to say a huge thank you to so many of my loyal clients. I have had some amazing years with you and have truly loved capturing your lives and families. It often feels like a gift to me :) I am currently booking Senior Portrait sessions as well as Spring flower sessions. Going Home!

I had a very moving experience during this photo shoot. My brother and sister-in-law have been waiting 9 years for this precious baby to come to their home. She had to stay in ICU for almost 4 months. I was asked to photograph the day they finally got to take her home. It is definately days like these that I am most grateful for my "job". It made me realize how much I am loving photo journalistic photography. I love to just be a "fly on the wall" and capture all those precious candid moments!!!

I Love FALL!!!

I Love FALL!!! There is something so exciting and refreshing to me about this time of year. We enjoyed a great fall day in the leaves and carving pumpkins - it doesn't get much better than this :)

Home Sweet Home

I did a little mini shoot at a friend's house. I wanted to capture the kids in their own enviornment and see what we would come up with. I like the idea of doing a shoot in someone's own home. I think they feel more at ease and it makes for fun backdrops. I am hoping to do more of these "day in the life" type shoots. Here were a few of my favorites....

A Day on the Farm

Our cute little neighbor, Sky, and my girls spent a morning with me down at the "Farm" and took some really fun pictures. It was fun to scout out some different locations and get some fantastic shots of the girls.
