I love watching the cute innocence of little children. How they get excited about the littlest things and how they don't know how to hold still. Like they are bursting with so much energy and life. So I know I have said this before - but there are some things that make you giddy like a little kid. This morning was one of those times. I have had several photos shoots with this cute little guy! I have loved being there to captured his milestones in life. This was another first for me. I had another Mini Shoot for two young men who were receiving their Eagle Scout Award. This was a great idea to capture a big milestone in their lives. It was cool to see all the patches all over their uniform and have the flag as a backdrop. It definately made me feel like I was doing something special.

I had a very moving experience during this photo shoot. My brother and sister-in-law have been waiting 9 years for this precious baby to come to their home. She had to stay in ICU for almost 4 months. I was asked to photograph the day they finally got to take her home. It is definately days like these that I am most grateful for my "job". It made me realize how much I am loving photo

This was a really fun shoot. We were exploring a new location to shoot at and had such a fun time discovering all the different possibilities. If you think you can get great family portraits in the winter - think again. I have had a blast this wintry season shooting some fun families. The shoot was especially fun because of the dymanics of the children. I think my favorite two shots were of the mom and her towering son and the shot of the three kids captured cadidly. This little Norah was so stinkin' tiny. I was almost afraid I was going to break her as we posed her. I was totally in love with her beautiful long blessing dress. She had such a peacefulness about her. I loved how her belly button is showing in the photo of her tiny feet. So precious!

This is my sweet little angel neighbor. My wonderful friend, Amy, asked me to do a shoot for her oldest daughter for her baptism. I was amazed as I took her photos, how angelic she was. I was actually very touched during our time together. As I took her pictures I was moved by her grace and peacefulness. It was a very memorable shoot and definitely a highlight of mine as a photographer.

This was a shoot I was totally giddy about. My cute little cousin was staying over at our house while his family was in town. He was getting baptized that afternoon and I thought it would be a great surprise to do a quick shoot of him for his baptism. For those who didn't know, Emily has a twin brother. They each have different mothers, but they are often mistaken for twins and are just as inseperable. "Ee" is so funny in front of the camera. This shoot was by far the most people I have ever shot at once. We had a fun Extended Family shoot and they were all so great to work with.
