Ok...I am quite sure you think I have fallen off the face of the earth with this blog. Truthfully, I am still here and having lots of fun with my photography.Maybe I should just hire someone to update my blog so you all can see all the fun I have been having these past many months. So with Spring approaching - I will turn over a new "leaf" (ha ha) and get some posts up for you to see. Also...I am going to be offering some fun prizes over the next while to my fans on my facebook page - found here.....so become a fan if you haven't yet and we can have some great fun together.
Here's a little peak at a cute former Senior who is now on a mission for the LDS church. He sure is a handsome guy.
I am looking forward to many senior shoots I have coming up.
This is a busy and fun time of year. More posts to come....
To my wonderful clients past and future - spots are filling very fast for Fall and Christmas Card shoots - My last shoot for the year will be on November 30. UPDATE: Due to current need:
I am extending my shooting schedule through that entire week to December 4, . Including Mini Holiday Sessions on Dec 3 and 4th. (Contact me for details on Mini Holiday Session - which include greeting cards)
Please contact me right away if you are hoping to get onto the schedule so I can make a spot for you. I am willing to work overtime to get your photos - but this year I made a promise to my kids that l would enjoy the Christmas season with my family instead of shooting and editing into the night - so thanks for understanding my schedule deadline. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!!! Happy Holidays!
I lLOVE 6-month old babies - they are just too charming. They can sit up but not really crawl and they are full of smiles. I had such a fun time this morning capturing sweet Miss "J" - Here's a quick peek...
One of the beauties of being your own boss is that you can decide to take the summer off from blogging and not get in too much trouble. LOL However, I really have some great stuff to show you from all the fun shoots I did this summer - so I will start putting together a collage so you all can enjoy them as much as I did.
In the meantime I promised a sneak peak to two adorable 2011 Seniors. I have known these girls since they were "half-pints" - and I have to say they have grown up very nicely. So here ya go ladies...more to come :)
Just when I think I might finally be caught up with posting - I find I am working my way through another pile of posts.
This has been such a fun few months. I had a fun break from all the senior shoots to capture this fun family. I have taken their pictures a few times and we always seem to have a good time shooting it up. Here's a quick sneak for "K" before she leaves town :)
Wasn't it just last year that I was engaged to my sweetheart and we were anticipating our wedding day? Well, is sure seems like it when I get to immerse myself in the lives of people in love. I love watching them look at each other. I love watching that twinkle in their eyes. And I really love watching them giggle. To my happy couple: I am excited for your journey together and hope that years from now today will just seem like it was only a moment ago.
A fun-loving, guitar-playing, swim-team Senior with a little attitude and a great sense of humor makes for a fun evening of photographs. Congratulations on this great milestone and for a grand future ahead!
I LOVE Seniors - this is the highlight of my year. They are so fun and young and energetic with those easy smiles. I love seeing youth in action and playing around with them. It brings out the teenager in me. Thanks for a super fun afternoon :) More to come...
I love photographing candid moments! It's like being a fly on the wall and you get to observe pure interaction and capture it. Here's another sneak of the cutest couple - they couldn't stop giggling and looking into each others eyes...
We had a great time ham it up with these cute kids. This is such a fun time of year for photo shoots and it was so nice to be out in the great weather capturing great memories for this family. Thanks so much you guys!
If I were to list some of the things that make me feel young and refreshed - at the top of that list would be sweet little babies. Their twinkling eyes and cute little baby drool. I love how they can give you a refreshing look at life.
Welcome to my Photography Blog! I have had a passion for photography almost my entire life. I love capturing a moment in time and making it last forever.
It has been a long time dream of mine to have my own photography business. Take a moment to navigate through the posted galleries of family and clients. If you like what you see, contact me so I can photograph YOUR Best Impression!
I've had many clients ask me when I got started in Photography....
Well - this is a tough one to answer. Do I say it all started at age 9 when I got my first FLASH-CUBE camera and took my first picture of an elephant at the zoo??? Or do I say when I was in high school and fell in love with the wonders of a dark room? Or do I say it was when I purchased my first Film SLR? Or is it when I discovered the magic of composition and lighting as a Graphic Design Major? Or when I officially started charging people for my photographs after years and years of doing it "just for fun"??? Let's just say it's been the love of my life for a long time.
I still love learning new things - and enjoy the process of discovery that photography offers. I officially started my photography business in 2007 "Best Impressions" - (after my maiden name "Best") at the urging of many whom I had taken pictures of for about 6 years. I've had such great support from many family and friends to encouraged me to take this journey. Thanks for taking time to be a part of this passion in my life!
